STEM Monster Confidence Day
Ten students from Year 10 have gone on a Monster Confidence trip today designed to inspire them to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
So far we have had a keynote speech, a CV talk and a speed mentoring session. We’ve got lots more to come so will update later. All the girls attending at part of our thriving Key Stage 4 STEM Club.
The day is organised by Monster Confidence and STEMettes, an award-winning social enterprise that inspires and supports young women into Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths careers.
Adama, Year 10 said: “Miss, thank you for bringing me. I now know what I want to do. The speed mentoring was so good”
