Praising & Rewards
Our praise and rewards system is rooted in our school's core values of ambition, compassion and respect.
As a community, we wish to ensure that every student demonstrates their ambition by always being ready to learn, persevering and taking advantage of every opportunity presented.
Our students also show compassion in their interactions with staff and students, they help when they can and always look out for the HAB community. Our students demonstrate their respect by having good manners in the way that they take care of their environment and in their interactions within the school community.
The praise and rewards system used by the Academy is outlined below. However, this is not an exhaustive list. Other rewards may be used to motivate and to recognise students' efforts in so far as they comply with good educational practice and promote good behaviour and follow the Academy's policies on behaviour and discipline.
