Trip To Normandy For Years 9 and 10
We had a fabulous two days in Normandy before February half-term.
We visited the American cemetery and learned about the D-Day landing, and had an amazing guided tour there and the most beautiful weather. We also revisited our Year 7 Norman history by visiting the Bayeux Tapestry museum and William the Conqueror's castle and hometown.
We decided to share our favourite place we visited here with you: the beautiful Mont Saint Michel, a nearby island abbey surrounded by a river and the sea, right where Normandy and Brittany meet.

Chloe says...
“When I went to Normandy I was so excited since it was my first time going to France. It was so nice there and the best bits were going to the Mont Saint Michel and the 360 movie. Also on the coach we watched movies like Frozen and some other movies. Everyone was singing Let It Go and I loved it there. I would definitely go again.” Chloe
