Vote For Aura in the Southwark Youth Parliament Elections
Name: Aura Iasmin Ilie
Representing: Harris Academy Bermondsey
My election pledge
I am a migrant, but I believe that everyone has the right to express themselves and feel safe. I desire to create safe places where young people can come whenever they need to and take a break from the busy city life, a place where they not only feel safe but can also relax and enjoy their hobbies.
I would like to contribute in helping our young people’s mental health, giving them the opportunity of talking with a trusted person which is their age, for this I would like to create a project where young people are trained to work with other young people, so that when a teenager needs to talk with a trusted person their age they could go and talk with them.
I would also like to create small things such as small festivals where different people with different backgrounds can present and represent their culture, for everyone is different but this is what unites us. Vote for me and be part of making our society a better place. Help me show the unity in diversity.
