Spoken word artist Usifu Jalloh (known as Cowfoot Prince) gave a charismatic and energetic African storytelling workshop to Harris Academy Bermondsey students as part of our 2023 Black History Month celebrations.

There were loads of smiles, as well as dancing and singing along. “The workshop dispelled myths about the countries in Africa and helped the girls to reframe history’s narrative,” said Ms Morris. “I’ve never seen so many smiling faces in one room! There were even tears of laughter and joy from some students"
