HAB Students Explore Gormley's Art and Tate Britain
In a whirlwind of creativity, Year 11 and 12 students embarked on an artistic adventure.
The journey began at the White Cube Gallery, where Anthony Gormley's sculptures leapt from steel and stone, capturing the imaginations of the students.
HAB students interacted with the exhibits, posing beside the statues and creating their own artistic narratives.
With the spirit of Gormley's creations still buzzing, the students hopped on an Uber boat, transforming their commute into a scenic London experience. Cruising along the iconic Thames, along the city's landmarks, adding a touch of riverside charm to their artistic escapade.
Their artistic expedition ended with a visit to Tate Britain, where the students immersed themselves in centuries of British art.
"The Tate is like a time machine! It's incredible how art can transport you through different periods and emotions" shared a student.
The journey had not only connected them with Gormley's sculptures and Tate's masterpieces but also added a dash of London's charm through the Uber boat ride an unforgettable experience that painted their day with strokes of excitement and fun.
