Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities - Free Parenting Course
Pauline Amechi (teacher of Citizenship and R.E) is running a parenting programme here at HAB.
The course is three hours every Monday morning and there are still some places to join over the next few weeks. Fresh courses will take place every 13 weeks.

About the programme
Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC) is a parenting programme designed to support you to raise happy and successful children by getting access to information and strategies for bringing up your children, meeting other parents, and making sure your voice is heard.
Access to SFSC is available as a 13 week face-to-face programme, which is delivered in a group setting.The SFSC programme is also accredited through the Open College Network. This means that you can gain credits for taking part in the programme, which you can use when you apply for a job or if you want to go back into education.

“We understand the difficulties that some parents are challenged by and we are pleased to be able to offer this training to parents to grow their skills in parenting and discuss ways forward, in a non-judgmental caring environment," said Pauline Amechi, who is running the course with Emma Donald.
