Tate Modern and White Cube Gallery Inspire HAB6 Artists
Year 11 went on a GCSE Art trip to the White Cube Gallery and Tate Modern recently, to help them engage with works of art related to their GCSE Art coursework project, on the topic of 'Environment'.
It was also a chance to use photography to gather primary resources of inner London landmarks and urban environments.
The students really enjoyed the day and got a lot out of their trip, which will benefit their coursework hugely as well as widen their experiences of the art world on our doorstep here in central London.
“The sculpture in the Tate Modern inspired an idea for my A-Level coursework," said Phoenix. Susan added: "It's great, because we get to move around and see something interesting all the time."
