Literary Tea Party Celebrates Books And Reading - Pictures
HAB students had a wonderful time at the library's Literary Tea Party. They made potions, decorated gingerbread, played word games and made jewellery inspired by books!
The Literary Tea Party is an opportunity to celebrate the students' love of books and dedication to all things literary.
Students were chosen because they are some of our most avid readers, because they have spent hours volunteering in the library, because they have helped other students develop their reading skills, or because they have dramatically improved their own reading skills over the past year.
Students made potions inspired by their favourite fantasy books, decorated gingerbread cookies for the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, enjoyed some fun vocabulary games, made jewellery inspired by their favourite books and learned how to shoot a bow and arrow as well as any god from Camp Half-Blood.
