Enter the Schools Laureate Prize for Poems in Translation
Enter the Schools Laureate Prize from the Stephen Spender Trust for poetry in translation!
The poems can be translated from any language, ancient or modern. All forms and genres are welcome, including texts from rap, spoken word and slam poetry. You can enter individually or collaboratively, if each contributor is credited on the submission form.

In addition to translating a poem for your entry, you also need to write a short commentary of no more than 300 words to explain to the judges how you approached translating the poem, and to give examples of three translation decisions that you found the most interesting or challenging along the way.
