HAB Football #LetGirlsPlay

As part of our commitment to International Women's Day, the PE department organised a special event at our school.
A football tournament was held during lunchtime, open to all Y7/8 (and some Y9) girls. Over 50 enthusiastic students participated, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship on the field.

A huge thanks to the support from the Football Association (FA), participants were awarded gifts to celebrate their dedication to the sport. Merle Redhead-Ling, Football Coach at Millwall FC, commented, "Really good to see a lot of the girls come to the pitch, very keen to get involved and most importantly played with a smile on their faces."
