Celebrating Diversity:                                                    A Spectacular Culture Day at HAB

Our Culture Day at HAB has been a fabulous celebration of our diverse community, proudly presented by our school. Highlighted by an extraordinary Culture Day show, the event showcased the incredible talents of our students in a 50-minute spectacular. The performances included a powerful spoken word poem, captivating songs, and vibrant dance routines. Additionally, models showcased a variety of cultures with incredible costumes, adding to the richness of the performance.

During tutor time, students completed an identity quiz and wrote poems celebrating their unique identities, with an opportunity to enter the Culture Day competition. 

We also focused on fundraising for Young Roots, a charity supporting young refugees in London. 

A special thank you goes to HAB6 students Lola for her outstanding work on lighting and Jess for expertly managing the sound, ensuring the show was a technical success. Thanks to all the staff and students involved for their dedication and hard work in making this day a success. 

The Culture Day show truly brought our community together in a celebration of talent and unity.
