The Harris Academy Bermondsey community gathered for a memorable Summer Concert, featuring over 60 talented students from our orchestra, choirs, and a lineup of solo performers. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the remarkable musical abilities of our students in a diverse and engaging program.

Highlights of the evening included exceptional solo performances from singers making their debut, captivating the audience with their vocal prowess and stage presence. The choir delivered a particularly moving rendition of Coldplay’s "Fix You," leaving many in the audience deeply touched by their heartfelt performance.

A special thank you goes to Sara Farina for her dedication and hard work in organising the concert, ensuring everything ran smoothly and beautifully. We also bid a fond farewell and extend our deepest gratitude to Emily Coleman-Boyle, whose leadership and passion have elevated our choirs to an exceptional level of excellence.

The concert was a testament to the students' hard work and dedication, with each performer relishing the opportunity to play for a large and appreciative audience. Special congratulations are due to the Brass Club for their impressive first performance, and to the Percussion and Jazz Bands, who once again dazzled with their fantastic presentations.

This summer concert not only celebrated the musical talents within our academy but also highlighted the sense of community and support that makes Harris Academy Bermondsey so special. Bravo to all our performers for an unforgettable evening!
