Year 7 Crack the Case in Library Murder Mystery!
This half term, our Year 7 students have been exploring the academy library in an exciting and educational way. During their sessions, they’ve learnt essential details about when the library is open and how to find the perfect book. From cracking codes to completing quizzes, our students have become library experts!
To put their new skills to the test, they became detectives for the day, tasked with solving the mystery of a "murder" in the library. Working in teams, students used their knowledge of fiction and non-fiction, alphabetical order, and the Dewey Decimal System to uncover the answers to a range of cleverly designed clues.
The budding detectives rose to the challenge, successfully identifying the victim and the book connected to the mystery.
Their enthusiasm and teamwork were truly impressive, proving that learning can be both fun and engaging.
